Who we are
True North Detail is a mobile car detailing business in London, Ontario, run by Calvin and Florian. For any privacy question or request, call (548) 391-5569.
What we collect
When you request a booking on this website, you give us:
- Your name, phone number and, if you choose, your email address
- The address where you'd like the detail done (or your address, for a drop-off)
- Details about your vehicle, the services you picked and anything you tell us about its condition
- Your preferred day and time, how you'd like us to contact you, and any notes you add
- Optional answers such as how you heard about us and whether you have a gift card (we never ask for the card number)
We don't collect payment card details on this website.
How we use it
- To confirm your appointment, give you a quote and do the work
- To contact you about your booking by text, call or email
- To keep basic business and accounting records
- To understand which of our marketing works (the "how did you hear about us" question)
We don't sell your personal information.
Unfinished booking requests
If you enter your name, phone number and address in the booking form and continue to the last step, we save those details and a short summary of your quote to a private Google Sheet, so we can follow up if something goes wrong before you send the request.
Services that help us run the website
- Formspree delivers booking requests from this website to our inbox.
- Google Sheets (Google) stores the unfinished requests described above.
- Google Ads: this website uses Google's tag to measure how well our ads work, for example counting when a booking request is sent. Google may use cookies for this. You can manage ad personalization in your Google ad settings, and read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Netlify hosts this website and may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.
- Square sells and delivers our eGift Cards. Purchase details are handled by Square according to Square's privacy policy.
These providers may store information outside Canada.
Saved in your browser
To save you time, the booking form remembers your in-progress quote in your own browser for up to 30 days. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us until you submit. Use "Start fresh" in the form, or clear your browser data, to remove it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our record-keeping obligations, and then delete it.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to stop using it where we're not required to keep it. Call (548) 391-5569 and we'll take care of it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
